Anime Trio Pfp Demon Slayer - Bluebiwasurd

Demon Slayer Season 1 (2019) is a Netflix series that my daughter and I just watched (26 episodes). The plot revolves on a family that lives on a mountain just outside of town, where everyone in the family contributes to their existence. The son's responsibility is to go into town, exchange for supplies, and return them to his family. When he goes home one day, he discovers that his whole family has been slain by demons on the mountain. So starts his adventure to become a demon slayer, supported by his sister, who has become a demon herself, and companions he meets along the road. The gore in this was better than I expected, and the monsters were fantastically represented - several diverse demons with unexpectedly fascinating skills. I enjoyed seeing the main characters grow, as well as the companions he meets and their displays of strength. The animation is excellent. My daughter was enthralled by the plot and cannot wait to see the film. The only thing that annoys me is the constant inner monologue, but what anime series doesn't include a lot of it? I'd give it a 9-9.5/10 and highly recommend it.
