He eventually agreed for three reasons: the VFX technology would allow him to bring this world to life, Netflixâs model would allow him to tell the tale as a continuous serialized narrative, and the series would allow him to represent âAsian and Indigenous characters as live, breathing people.â In addition to Kim, the series will be executive produced by Dan Lin (The Lego Movie, It), Lindsey Liberatore (The Day After Tomorrow), Michael Goi (Glee, American Horror Story), and Roseanne Liang (My Wedding and Other Secrets). With the exception of one or two minor details, the tale is amazing and actually demonstrates a different perspective on the Avatar. This is a series you must watch if you enjoyed TLA, and although season 1 isn't the best, the next seasons will prove why the series is worthy of the Avatar brand.
