The initial mascot of U-18Chan, a cat dressed in SS uniform, was derived from the German imageboard Krautchan. The current mascot, a sergal in SS uniform, was created by Yuuri and christened Valkyria in a competition hosted by Jay. SpazzyKoneko has done more Valkyria drawings, featuring various versions for each holiday thus far. Every drawing of the current mascot is available in high quality on a dedicated website.
