A low-budget horror picture, the acting is excellent if you can get past the "American" accent of the male protagonist. The tale is well-paced, and the eerie moments come together beautifully. One of the most impressive aspects of this picture is that the "Jack" character is not overused, which is a common issue in horror films of this kind. To sum up, the picture works effectively and may be deemed an accomplishment by its producers because of the low production costs, which are not always apparent in the final result. cast and crew deserve praise for pulling off one of the filmmaking world's "Holy Grail" feats: creating an excellent picture on a little budget.
