Magecraft The Emiya Thaumaturgical Crest is carved on Kiritsugu's back, but as a normal magus, he was unable to inherit it properly from his father. Because of the Sealing Designation, the Association kept Norikata's body and confiscated all of the important parts of the Crest. Kiritsugu was allowed to inherit a portion of the Crest thanks to Natalia's efforts, but it was only a "fragment" worth less than half of the original amount. Even so, it was sufficient that he was able to use his magus abilities, given that he had little interest in continuing the research in the first place, only focusing on whether it would be useful as a tool in combat situations. He can also use basic hypnotic suggestions on those who have no natural resistance to magecraft by directing the target's attention to his eyes.
A Fate/Zero Survival Guide
Fate/Zero is the prequel to Fate/stay night, the pivotal entry in Kinoko Nasu's Fate media franchise. It is a part of the Nasuverse, which includes visual novels, anime, light novels, and video games. Gen Urobuchi, the infamous author of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, wrote Fate/Zero, a light novel. In 2011, it was adapted into an anime. It takes place ten years before Fate/stay night, which we will discuss later in all three different versions. The plot of Fate/Zero and the majority of the franchise's titles revolves around the Holy Grail War, a mystical battle royale that occurs every sixty years. The Grail is an omnipotent wish-granting device summoned by the Tohsakas, Einzberns, and Makotos mage clans (later the Matou). They desired to reach the Root, the source of all magic. However, the clans clashed, resulting in the Holy Grail War. The Grail chooses seven mages to be Masters. They, in turn, summon seven Servants.
