After training everyone, Kakashi and company (except Naruto) go to the bridge that Tazuna was meant to complete, where they are met by Zabuza and the mystery tracker ninja, revealed to be Haku. Sasuke faced up against Haku, while Kakashi faced off against Zabuza. The battle continued on for hours, and finally both Naruto and Sasuke were imprisoned within one of Haku's numerous lethal Jutsu, a massive chamber of ice mirrors that he used a kekkai genkai inside to teleport from mirror to mirror at tremendous speeds, knocking them down in the process. Meanwhile, Zabuza concealed in his mist and attacked softly and fast, quite an accomplishment with a blade of that size on his back. Following a long struggle with Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. Kakashi defeats Zabuza with a "Raikiri" (Lightning Blade). Both Zabuza and Haku are slain, but before he dies, Zabuza demonstrates that he really cared for Haku and not just himself. In an emotional sequence, Zabuza advises Naruto on how to be a genuine ninja.
